Brief Memory Eight

16 04 2008

The grave in the very center of the five: I remembered that the person lived only until they were 35 years old.

Brief Memory Seven

There was an epitaph that read something about working at a diner and being buried in canvas. Geez. A bag of bones, literally.

Chapter Five

Me at the graveyard

As soon as one of these random tidbits of information comes to me I jot it down. As soon as I can get to my computer I do so I can enter each one. I’m listing them separately as I feel each is an important clue. Feel free to comment on anything on this blog if I can help clarify what I remember.

Brief Memory Six

One of the epitaphs mentioned something about the person’s body never being found and so nothing was placed into the ground. This tombstone was next to the grave of a person who worked for the church.

Brief Memory Five

Earl Schall’s brother Abe had one of the five graves: it was the first one in the set actually. That accounts for four of the five people (Abe and Earl’s 3 children).

Brief Memory Four

The white marble gravestone — one of the graves in the set of five — is to the left of another that is rounded stone.

Chapter Four: Thoughts

The graveyard

I was thinking back on these details starting to emerge to front of my brain and Sara’s initial prediction might have been right: these images that come to me from the dreams seem like they are clues leading me toward that treasure. I can’t figure it out and am very glad I started this blog. Surely there are people out there in the world who can connect the dots. Here’s what I think: in this plot of five graves, one of the coffins actually has the buried treasure instead of a body. And last thing: thinking back to Earl Schall’s epitaph, there must be a clue there somewhere that let’s us know what to be looking for.

Brief Memory Three

16 04 2008

Anna was 27 when she died.

Brief Memory Two

16 04 2008

There was an inscription that Anderson Schall was buried in a wooden coffin.

Brief Memory One

16 04 2008

As I work my way through fading memories of the dreams, here’s something that just came back to me: Fred’s grave was unique in that the headstone was a giant block laid on the ground.
